The Real Challenge

(double click on the image for a large version)

Over the past couple of days I've had two people ask me, "What's the biggest challenge?"

Both were talking about marketing, and they each ran through the list - print or web advertising, SEO, inbound/outbound, click rate, blogs, social media... the lists were enormous.

Honestly, it's simpler than that. The average person is bombarded with 7000 advertising messages a DAY. The biggest challenge is figuring out how to cut through that. And it's not through a huge list. It's done far more effectively with thinking, asking questions, and thinking more. It takes a little time, but it's way simpler than we try to make it.

I don't care if you are trying to market a product, build a ministry, or simply want to make a positive connection with your spouse, cutting through that clutter is your real challenge. And you don't do it by being louder. You do it by understanding more.

That's part of what we do at Quarry House. Guide people and companies to better understanding. Not tell them what to do, but to help them through the process of understanding what they need to understand to succeed, whether it's in technology, marketing, communications or personal development.
