Poem: Vegitables in a Box

Vegetables in a Box

Your eye is drawn
to the colors,
imperfect and bright,
a beacon, blemished

yet a delight, perhaps
more so for it's flaws
that deter others

who do not understand
that a few scars,
a few scuffs of dirt

are badges of growth,
and add surprise
to the heavenly taste.
