Poetry: Choosing a Frame

Choosing A Frame

There is an art to it,
choosing a frame, that
bit of wood, colored or not,
that has the power

to make a picture sing with glory,
or fade into obscurity,
and in choosing that frame, you choose
to see

or not.

Poem: Recipie for Happiness

Recipe for Happiness

It's simple really, all you need
is a bed, good light, a book,
a bit of food in the cupboard,

A friend or two to share your heart with,
unafraid.
The rest has nothing to do with what is

out there. but instead what is within:
the ability to see
that God will provide

not what you want,
but what you need.

Fun creativity exercises

Regular readers know I am a sucker for lists. I like them because they are concise and almost every list has at least one thing in it that I can actively put to use NOW. Here's a list of some quick and fun exercises to stimulate your own creativity. It comes from Psychology Today's site.

And while you are there, check out the author's "Happiness Project" - research on happiness. Very cool!
